With KTM
G
NCC Champion Ben Kelley
signed three-year contract
extension with the FMF KTM
Factory Racing Team. Kelley will
compete in both the GNCC and
National Enduro Championships.
He is currently recovering from
injury while sitting second in the
GNCC Championship.
"I've been working with KTM
for a handful of years now and
we have had great success
together as a team," said Kel-
ley. "I'm excited to sign for three
more years and look forward
to continuing to progress as a
racer. KTM strives for excellence
and is an environment I am proud
to be a part of."
Team Manager Tim Weigand,
said, "On behalf of myself and
the team, we are excited to have
Ben continue with our program
for the next three years. He is
the epitome of a champion, and
he puts forth 100-percent effort
both on and off the track to be
the best week-in and week-out.
We can't wait to see what is in
store for Ben in the future."

Industry Friend
L
ongtime friend of the motorcycle com-
munity Gary LaPlante could use our
help. LaPlante, founder of the riding facility
MotoVentures (located across the street
from Cahuilla Creek MX), a lifelong rider,
trials champion and former key employee
at Kawasaki and Honda, was diagnosed
with brain cancer.
Even with his health insurance, medical
bills are starting to stack up, so Mike Cline
is rallying the moto community to help out
in a creative way. By donating to Gary's
GoFundMe you can receive a piece from
classic motorsports artist Hector Cadem-
artori. A donation of at least $150 gets you
a large full-color print, delivered to your
door, while a donation of $50 gets you a
black-and-white print, also delivered.
Visit Gary LaPlante's GoFundMe page if
you would like to donate or wish him well.
