abili es with an impressive climb up the
field to an eventual sixth-place effort in
his '22 class debut. He said "First me
back on a twin in a while now. I came
in pre y confident—Lima is kind of my
deal—but it took a bit longer to get up
to speed than I would have wanted. We
had a terrible first few laps of the main
event, but I miraculously found the line I
was looking for all day long. I think I was
second-to-last at one point and ended up
sixth. Overall, to walk away with a sixth
on a bike I've never ridden, with a new
team, new everything, we'll take it and
keep building from here."
Jared Mees and his wife

strap on a helmet and earn a
podium finish with a late-race
pass on Briar Bauman.
