luck." And so it went for Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia (Lenovo
Ducati) at Assen, who erased the memory of his German
Grand Prix crash last week by dominating proceedings in Holland.
Pole position and a lights-to-flag victory in front of a thoroughly
packed house at Assen signaled Ducati's first Dutch triumph since
Casey Stoner back in 2008, and it was a return of serve of sorts for
the Italian as World Champion and title leader Fabio Quartararo (Mon-
ster Energy Yamaha) made his first mistake of 2022. The Frenchman,

forcing Espargaro off track and back down to 15th.
