Saturday, as Hunter and Jett
traded moto wins en route to
1-2 overall finishes.
Is it too early to talk about a
perfect season? We're a third
of the way through the outdoor
season and Jett Lawrence's
overall win streak is a perfect
four-for-four. What's amazing is
the Honda youngster has won
in nearly every type of sce-
nario. At High Point, two hard-
fought motos saw him go 2-1 to
take the overall ahead of older
brother Hunter. The second
moto was one for the books as
the two traded positions mul-
tiple times over multiple laps
and put the fans on their feet
for the full 30-plus-two. Jett
came out with the overall, win-
ning the moto by a half-second.
The number-18 leads the points
by 12 over Hunter in second.
"It was a fun race to just
go back and forth," Jett said.
"We know we can push the
limits hard and get close to
each other, but we know we're
technically good enough not
He later said that he twisted his
ankle "pretty bad." It appears he'll
be okay and will line up at RedBud
in two weeks.
