front again, but I honestly wasn't
riding very good," Anderson said.
"I passed Dungey and then he
ended up getting me back, and I
was trying to hold onto that train
right there in fifth place. I had a
tip-over again and was just by
myself trying to fend off the guys
behind me."
250MX
While the 450MX class is really
anyone's guess, the 250s have
become a safe bet with both
Lawrence brothers finding them-
selves at the front in nearly every
moto. The same was true on

AMERICAN
VACATION OVER?
It looks like Antonio Cairoli's
American vacation is indeed over
after four rounds, which was
his original plan. The nine-time
MXGP champ looked good in the
early stages of moto one but a
run-in with Christian Craig put the
Italian on the ground and out of
the race. "I made a mistake and
touched together with another
rider," Cairoli said. "I put down
my knee really hard. I felt it im-
mediately because this knee is
giving me some trouble already
and it was a big hit. It started
swelling up and fluid inside, so
I pulled off." Cairoli returned for
moto two but got a bad start and
later pulled out again. "With the
knee in this condition, I couldn't
really pull a good start and then
I was out of the top-20," he said.
"I got back up to 13th, but I was
struggling a lot with my knee, so I
decided it's not really a good day,
let's move on. We had a good
time here. For sure I would like to
end up in a different situation but
it's okay. We are not hurt so bad,
just a bad day."
PLESSINGER
PULLS OVER
Red Bull KTM's Aaron Plessinger
pulled off the track while running
up front late in the 450MX moto.
