result. But that took a lot out of me, and I was exhausted coming out of it. I wasn't crazy tired, but I was cramping so bad in my legs. Getting on the podium is a huge result for me. I really wanted to put Canada on the map for Hard Enduro, so hopefully this does it!" Husqvarna's Billy Bolt finished in fourth place despite riding with an injured ankle that he thought may keep him on the sidelines for Erzberg. The fourth-place finish was enough to keep the British rider at the top of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship points standings. Spain's Alfredo Gomez rounded out the top five on his GasGas. Walkner was the first Austrian to finish the complete Erzbergro- deo in sixth place. South African Wade Young finished seventh after some bike issues slowed him down in the final sections of the course. Fellow South African Matthew Green finished eighth; he was the final rider to finish within the four-hour time limit. American Ryder LeBlond was credited with 10th place based on his time through checkpoint 21, although he was unable to complete the course within the four-hour time limit. Fellow Ameri- cans Quinn Wentzel was 62nd and Kailub Russell was 73rd. Another notable entry was Pol Tarres. The Yamaha rider made history as the first person to line up for the Erzberg scrambles race aboard a twin-cylinder bike. Tarres piloted the Yamaha Tenere 700 adventure motorcycle in the main race, incredibly reaching checkpoint 17 before reaching the time limit. He was credited with 77th overall. Multi-time Erzbergrodeo win- ner Graham Jarvis had a me- chanical problem right at the start that took about an hour to repair. This put him behind the five hundred riders that qualified for the Sunday final, and he worked hard to make it through 21 of the 27 checkpoints but was unable to complete the course in the four- hour time limit.
