to take each other out and end
our race. It was fun but very
difficult because you'd have to
find a passing spot and make

Another weekend and it was
another moto win for Hunter
Lawrence, as the older of the
two brothers has really come
into his own lately. The num-
ber-96 put himself in the right
place at the right time all day,
capitalizing on mistakes from
Michael Mosiman in moto one
and Seth Hammaker in moto
two. Both times, Lawrence in-

did he finish the task. He easily
won the first moto and later
found himself in an all-out battle
with brother Jett in moto two.
Hunter threw down a strong
last-lap charge but came up

race win. His 2-1 finishes gave
him second overall.

P72
MOTOCROSS I LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
HAMMAKER HOLESHOT
Chalk up two holeshots for Seth
Hammaker who had a breakout ride
at High Point. The Pennsylvania
native led laps in moto one but was
later passed and finished just off the
podium in fourth. He holeshotted
again in moto two but fell before the
completion of the opening lap.
Briefly...
Hunter Lawrence was hard to beat in moto one and
finished a half-second back in moto two.
