"First one I was frustrated with myself," Hunter Lawrence said. "With my start I didn't give myself a great opportunity to be where I wanted to be. Second one I basically said, 'Screw it, I'm go- ing to hold it wide.' I mean I can't be any worse off the gate, and it worked out well. Turned out okay and turned it around." The Star Racing Yamaha youngster, Kitchen, holeshotted moto one and went untouched for the race win. He led every lap of the 30-plus-two en route to his first moto win as a profes- sional.
