ROUND 8/JULY 28, 2013 CROSS FORK, PENNSYLVANIA OFF-ROAD P86 REKLUSE AMA NATIONAL ENDURO SERIES start in the slick and muddy event. Despite still being on the mend from the after effects of a nasty crash a little over a month ago, the factory Husaberg rider posted the fastest time in the first three tests of the day to jump out to a quick lead by the halfway point of the enduro. Starting this year, the rules call for the pro riders to start each race according to their finish at the last round. Bobbitt was 15th at the previous Foggy Mountain Enduro in Blain, Pennsylvania, which put him in the back of the pros on row 31 for the Rattlesnake. Meanwhile, the winner of the Foggy Mountain Enduro, Charlie Mullins, started from 21 and was pretty much breaking trail for the rest of the pro riders. "I had a little advantage over the guys on the first few rows due to the mud and slick conditions, but I'll take it," said Bobbitt. "I was riding well, too, and that didn't hurt; it just feels good to finally get the win. " What goes around comes around, however, and Bobbitt will be starting from the front at the next round in Indiana. "This has been a long time coming," Bobbitt said. "But we were ready for this race when we came in here. We had a good bike setup and I felt pretty confident from the get-go. We put on a trials tire for that second test because I walked some of it on Saturday, and I saw that it was really rocky and technical, and that paid off for us. "Overall, I was pretty clean during the morning, although I (Top left) Eight-time National Enduro champ Mike Lafferty contributed to a Husaberg sweep of the podium by finishing third. (Top right) Charlie Mullins had an off day with a fourth, but he still carries a 29-point lead in the series standings with two to go. (Right) Brad Bakken had a good day in the Pennsylvania mud, riding his Obermeyer Yamaha YZ250F to a fifth-place finish. crashed twice in the fifth test and struggled to get my bike started. In the last test, I knew I had a lead and I just played it smart." Finishing 33 seconds behind Bobbitt in the runner-up position was Nick Fahringer. The Radiant AirGroup Racing Husaberg rider got off to a bad start in the first test, where he was sixth fastest, but came on strong in the end, posting the second-fastest time
