have it, but I like my new style a little
better."
Dungey would take the moto win all
alone, while Canard made a late-race
pass on Stewart, who would cruise on
in for third, knowing he would take the
overall.
"We made the right call on bike setup today because the track was choppy
and not real deep," Stewart said. "Riding with Trey was fun and I wasn't worried about him because he races hard
and clean. I saw RV down on the first
lap and I've been in that position many
times, so I knew I had to make the most
of it like he always does."
"It is great to be up here and I sure
missed it," Canard explained of his second-overall result. "I enjoyed it all day

compete. He has been out since
the Toronto Supercross with a
shoulder injury. "I just came here to
ride the track yesterday on amateur
day. I have just started riding again
and I'd like to try to race the last two
nationals starting at Utah, but we'll
see how the next few weeks go. I'm
still sore"
Alex Martin (Jeremy Martin's
brother) returned to racing at
his home track (that his parents
own) after missing Washougal the
week prior with a head injury. "I
got knocked out while practicing
in Texas the Wednesday before
Washougal," Martin said. "They
said I probably wouldn't be ready
to race here, but I feel good and
there's no way I'm going to miss
my own race." Alex had a decent
day with 13-16 scores, but it was his
younger brother, Jeremy, who stole
the spotlight by going 2-7 for fourth
overall after leading a good portion
of the first moto.
Jake Canada made a return to
racing at Millville after being released from the MotoConcepts
team back in June. "Doug Dubach
and his company, Dr.D, are helping
me out and gave me a Yamaha 450
to ride," Canada said. He rode well
on the new bike and went 15-16 for
16th overall on the day.
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Tyla Rattray is slowly improving after getting injured at Red
Bud earlier in the month, but his
day didn't go too well. The South
African went 13-13 for 12th overall.
