The momentous victory was a first on many fronts—the first of Daniels' premier-class career, the first win by a rookie since 2007, Yamaha's first on an oval since 1976, and the first for Yamaha on a mile since 1975. Additionally, Rispoli became first to transform a Mission Produc- tion Twins Challenge entry into a podium result. Mission Roof System's Bran- don Robinson finished a relatively close fourth while a second Mis- sion Production Twins regular, Ben Lowe, completed the top- five on his Mission Foods/Roof Systems-backed Yamaha MT-07.
