Freddie Spencer's win at the AMA Superbike round at Texas World
Speedway, and an interview with Scott Russell... Kevin Schwantz
topped the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello... Damon Bradshaw won the
Dallas Supercross; Jeremy McGrath won the 125cc main event... We
reported that Jeff Ward was officially
ending his Supercross-racing career
to pursue four-wheel racing, starting
with Indy Lights.
The Hayden brothers made history when all three—Nicky, Tommy
and Roger Lee—became the first all-family podium finishers in
motorcycle National history. Nicky, Tommy and Roger Lee went
1-2-3 at the Springfield TT... Chris Carr captured his fourth straight
Springfield Mile victory... Ricky Carmichael won both 250cc motos
at the High Point National Motocross; Chad Reed won both 125cc
motos... Ty Davis won the Carbon County Fairgrounds WORCS round
in Price, Utah... Colin Edwards and Troy Bayliss traded wins at the
Silverstone World Superbike round.
