Canceled

ound 13 of the FIM MXGP
Championship has been
canceled. The MXGP of Jakarta,
which was scheduled for the July
2-3 weekend, will not take place
and, as of now, has not been
rescheduled for this year.
Infront Moto Racing, the
organizers of the MXGP Cham-
pionship, said, "Despite the best
efforts by the local organizer, it
has not been possible to secure
the proper running of the event
for this year.
"Infront Moto Racing and the
FIM look forward to returning to
Jakarta for FIM Motocross World
Championship in the future, but
for now the focus is on the MXGP
of Indonesia which will take place
in Samota-Sumbawa on the 25th
and 26th of June."

Olsen On
The Mend

ed Bull KTM provided an up-
date on Belgian Thomas Kjer
Olsen who was injured in April
when he crashed at the MXGP
of Latvia during qualification. He
was hospitalized with a head and
neck injury and was placed in a
medically induced coma.
KTM recently confirmed that
Olsen suffered a fractured C1
vertebrae and is now resting at
home.
"At the moment we are happy
to inform you that Thomas is not
dependent on any equipment
and can eat, drink and walk
on his own," read a KTM team
release. "The doctors, all the
caregivers, his family and the
whole team are very confident
that Thomas will fully recover
from the consequences of the
fall and will be able to lead a
normal life in the future.
"However, the recovery phase
will continue for several months,
and we ask for your understand-
ing to refrain from enquiries
regarding his state of health.
"Thomas would also like to
take this opportunity to person-
ally thank everyone for the many
get-well messages and thoughts
sent to him from the entire MX
family."
