together. What happened next is still a bit of a mystery, but Petrucci crashed the Panigale V4 R in the fast turn one after the finish line and suffered a laceration on his leg that required stiches. Petrucci was in the medical center and missed the podium ceremonies. all, he'd destroyed his A bike in a morning warm-up crash, forcing his crew to try and replicate the setup on the second bike. Third place went to Petrucci, the Italian crossing the line just 0.020 seconds behind Scholtz as the pair raced to the finish line BMW and just half a second behind the two Tytlers BMWs. Disrupt Racing's Hayden Gil- lim ended up ninth with Tytlers Cycle/RideHVMC Racing's Travis Wyman rounding out the top 10. Notable non-finishers included Richie Escalante, the Vision Wheel M4 Ecstar Suzuki rider crashing out of the race early. Once again, Gagne led from start to finish in Sunday's race two. He wanted no part of the battles going on behind him and checked out, leaving Scholtz, Petersen and Petrucci to decide the rest of the podium among themselves. Scholtz ended up finishing second. Again. This time Scholtz wasn't overly upset with his fifth runner-up finish of the year.
