"It just all glued together,"
Thrasher said. "This season's
not been my best, which you all
can tell. I just haven't had good
starts; I've been 15th or 16th off
the start and you just can't do
that because these guys are so
good. You have to be up front off
the gate, and I haven't been. But
when I have been up front, I just
haven't ridden my best. I don't

third career victory and techni-
cally helped Craig by not allowing
Lawrence to win.

interesting during the pre-race
press conference by saying he
would be "Hunter's right hand
man" come the main event on
Saturday night. It never panned
out that way, though, as Jett
crashed in qualifying and sat out
the main due to a tweaked ankle.
Both Craig and Hunter Law-
rence started up front in the
main event, with Lawrence
barely edging Craig in the open-
ing lap. Craig's Yamaha team-
mate, Nate Thrasher, surprised
everyone by passing Craig and
Lawrence in the matter of a lap
and taking control of the lead.
Thrasher rode the best he has
all year and proceeded to set
the fastest lap of the race in the
process. He led 17 laps of the
Salt Lake City 250SX East/West Supercross Highlights
