It's party time!

hris Carr earned his first and the Harley-Davidson Motor
Co. its 30th Grand National Championship with his
1992 triumph over teammate and four-time champ Scott
Parker, and in his honor the "Motor .Company" threw a
victory bash.
The October II party took place at the Red L.ion Inn in
Ontario, California, not far from the Los Angeles County
Fair and Exposition Complex, site of Carr's title performing
performance in the October 10 Pomona Half Mile season
finale.
A lunch buffet and two open bars accommodated the partygoers and ESPN's Dave Despain interviewed the top 10
finishers and gave a sneak preview of the season-highlights
show to be broadcast on ESPN, November 5.
Plenty of bench racing followed before the racers,
mechanics, team members and sponsors headed home to
prepare for next year's March season-opener in Daytona
Beach, Florida.
