ven though the seventh round of the
National Hillclimb series returned to
the White Rose hill for the second time
this season, the fall running of the event
featured a fresh outcome. Veterans Tom
Reiser and Ted Wilkins both celebrated
their first wins of the· season, scoring victories in the 800 and 540cc classes, respectively.
With literally decades of experience in
pro motorcycle competition, Reiser has
been running in the top 10 all season long,
but he finally put together the right combination to nab a class win in York. Reiser
took his Harley-Davidson to the top fastest
on his second run.
