Historically; motocross races include two or three motos, considered of equal importance, with composite scoring to determine the day's winners. But the 1993 AMA Glen Helen National will adopt an elimination format ending with doublepoints feature races in each cla~s. Two qualifying heat races and a last chance qualifier will set the fields for 30-minute .125 and 250cc main events.
