over the lead. Ackroyd also moved up to
second, as Miller panicked and fell back in
the pack. Lance King, who was in sixth place
when Northrup took over the lead suddenly
came to life and drove his Weslake hard in
the outside dirt, eventually passing Ackroyd's
second-place position. King, the 1984 Overseas Final Champion, ran out of laps to catch
Northrup and finished in second place.
Ackroyd held on for third, while Bart Bast
grabbed fourth.
Chris Harrinltton won the Support main,
as he took a wlre-to-wire victory over Erich
Fertsehneider and Mike Buschman.
