• joined the big-bore category and may not have enough scores to qualify when the series is over. Series points-leader John Vincent finished second in class to keep his title hopes alive. ATK rider Richard Moyer placed third. American Suzuki-backed Mark Hyde once again took on Honda pilot Jared Green in the Four-Stroke A class and emerged victorious. Hyde and Green each have three race wins in their battle for the class title. Bob Sloan secured third place behind Green. The top rider in Senior (+40) class was Joseph Hull, who out-paced Terry Mealer for his third win of the series. David Morrison rode his KTM to third in the final tally. The class points leader, Larry Bollinger could only manage a fifth-place finish at the Buckeye. John Gallagher won the Senior (+45) class to keep his title hopes alive. Phil Andrews finished second ahead of current tour leader Joe Lojak. North Carolina's Harry Greenlee won the Super Senior (+50) division for the seventh time this season, outdistancing William Miller and Dennis Zinz for the victory. The Masters class champ was Don Harless. Pennsylvania's Shawn Brell once again led everyone in the Open B class, accumulating a short lead on Richard Lukaesko to secure the win. . Mike Busch was the high finisher in 250cc B-class action, holding off Jody Main and Mark Spence for the win. Kelvin Hull was the winner in the 200cc B class, giving the family two first-place trophies on the day (Joseph Hull topped the Senior class.) The younger Hull bettered Rodney Judson and Robin Spacht for the class victory. In Four-Stroke B-class racing Mike Decherd out-paced Mike Treadway for the class win, while Vance Early captured another Veteran B-class win, this time over Jeff Lane. In Sunday morning minicycle racing, Shawn Belville outdistanced Ben Beery and Kevin Johnson for the overall win.
