Noble Knights Racing (55) won the Heavyweight Production class. Ruhl and Scott McVicker's day would be hampered by slow pit stops and they would eventually finish eighth. Hall was aboard the Team Suzuki Endurance bike when the second red flag was .thrown and he completed his stint following the 30-minute break. Hall, like Martin, was able to pull away, eventually putting three laps on TSBA before handing off to 18-year-old Stevie Patterson. Patterson would also add a lap to Team Suzuki's lead before handing the bike back to Martin for his run to the finish. A late extra stop for a splash of gas was Suzuki's only unscheduled stop as the team rode on to a six-lap victory. The Middleweight Production race was a dramatic one with Arclight Racing II's Stanton running down Team Pearls' Tony Barchetti in the final laps after falling some 40 seconds behind. Stanton passed Barchetti only to have the bike run into fuel starvation problems, allowing Barchetti to pass and beat Arclight by a second at the flag. Team Suzuki's Martin was watching the battle from behind, waiting patiently to pass only when he knew he wouldn't be interfering with the battle. In Sunday's sprint race battles, faststarting Kurt Hall was the big winner, taking all three Superstock events on his Suzuki GSXRllOO, GSXR750 and GSXR600, respectively. Hall topped his endurance teammates Patterson and Martin in the A Superstock class, AMA regular Tripp Nobles and Patterson in B Superstock and Paterson and Martin again in C Superstock.
