GNEW BIKES 1993 Suzukis ~ The GSXR1100WP, as well as the GSXR750 and 600, are liquid-cooled for '93. The 1100 bas a suggested retail price of $8199, making it the most expensive Suzuki model. • • 1 Ul ·cooe iquid-cooled GSXR sport bikes, all-new RM MXers, and a revived RMX off-road bike highlight Suzuki's 24-motorcycle lineup for 1993. Suzuki will offer 13 street bikes, three dual purpose models, five offroad bikes and three motocrossers. Suzuki recently released photos of its '93 £leet but, unfortunately, very little information concerning technical changes. Official tech information should be released in about two weeks, following the company's annual dealer show. Perhaps the most exciting '93 models are Suzuki's most expensive product, the GSXRllOOWP, which will carry a suggested retail price tag of $8199, and the GSXR750WP at $7299. Both bikes, as well as the GSXR600WP, are now water-cooled and feature a number of other changes', including new GSXR600-based frames; new swingarms, removable rear sub-frame sections, redesigned, fairings and new graphics. Unlike the GSXR600 and 750, which use fourpiston Nissin front brakes calipers, the, GSXRIIOO now features heefier sixpiston Tokico front calipers. The '93 GSXR600, which was first released in April as a 1992 model, is basically the same, except for different graphics. The GSXR600WP will have a suggested retail price of $6399. To complete the sport bike category, Suzuki continues to offer its three aircooled Katana models, the GSX600FP, s or , L 14 Both the RMI25 (shown) and 250 feature all-new bodywork and internal refinements. The 125 will cost $3699, and the 250 $4299.
