Maloney Tops
ISDE West
Qualifier
A
nson Maloney was the overall
winner at the AMA West ISDE
Qualifier in Blackfoot, Idaho, April
30-May 1, hosted by the XC208
club and held at Blackfoot MX.
Dry and dusty conditions and a
pair of loops with six tests awaited
the racers on day one. After all was
said and done on Saturday, Malo-
ney was the top rider, followed by
Anthony Ferrante and Dave Fullmer.
Just three minutes separated the
three riders at the end of the day.
Soft rain on day two changed
the dynamics of the race. Vision
was a problem for them, as well as
the slick dirt. Despite the different
conditions, the top two results re-
mained the same with Maloney and
Ferrante going 1-2. Shane Sieben-
thall was third on the day.
Fullmer had a few crashes on the
slippery terrain and backed down
his pace a few notches, knowing
he had already clinched spot on
the U.S. ISDE Team, which will be
heading to France later this year.

Anson Maloney won both days at
the ISDE West Qualifier in Blackfoot,
Idaho.
