ROUND 3 / APRIL 23, 2022
I-70 MOTORSPORTS PARK / ODESSA, MISSOURI
P110
FLAT TRACK I PROGRESSIVE AMERICAN FLAT TRACK
throw down for the runner-up posi-
tion (very) deep into the contest.
Young Ross defied a smok-
ing machine to take control of
second and position himself for
a maiden podium… until that ma-
chine would be defied no longer.
His Kawasaki finally gave up the
fight with less than a minute left
on the clock. That left Zabala and
Carlile to argue over second, that
is until Zabala and Carlile both hit
the ground in quick succession
with just over a lap to be run.
Ultimately, the resultant red flag
ended the contest and elevated
the class' points leader, Competi-
tive Racing Frames/Lessley Broth-
ers' Nick Armstrong, and reigning
champion, G&G Racing Yamaha's
Cory Texter, onto the podium de-
spite both running as low as ninth
earlier in the contest.
Sammy O Racing/Arai Helmets's
Jerimiah Duffy and Roy Built/S&J
Coal Mine's Jordan Harris rounded
out the top five.
