Vance & Hines Harley-David-
son's Jesse Janisch did his part
in making for a nice, simple and
easy-to-track Mission Produc-
tion Twins Main event. He took
control of the race early, left
the field in his wake, and rarely
put a wheel wrong en route to a
dominant victory.
If only the rest of the pack was
so agreeable.

on Whale, who gobbled up a de-
cent margin to Mischler before
taking over the runner-up spot.
At that point, the Australian
started to do the same to Kopp,
but the short six-minute-plus-
two-lap main event didn't allow
the opportunity for a proper
last-lap duel between the KTM
runners.
As a result, Kopp earned his
second win—both his career and
his season—while Whale is left
still in search of his first win of
'22.
Mischler backed up his Texas
triumph with another podium, as
the trio continues to look more
and more like this year's primary
title protagonists.
