JUNIOR CUP Cody Wyman (Alpha Omega Kawasaki) took race one of the 2022 Junior Cup championship on Saturday, triumphing ahead of Max Van (SportbikeTrack- Gear.com Kawasaki and his teammate Joseph LiMandri Jr., but as tense as his 0.6-second win was, it was race two every- one was talking about. After the race concluded, the podium result ended up being changed due to a MotoAmerica defending class champion Kyle Wyman returned to form after a tough day on Saturday in which he crashed out of the three-lap Dash for Cash. Challenge winner Bobby Fong was the one to suffer a fall on Sunday as he crashed while in pursuit of Wyman on his Roland Sands Design Indian Challenger. Second place went to Vance & Hines Racing Harley-David- son's James Rispoli, the two- time AMA SuperSport Champion returning to MotoAmerica after an eight-year hiatus. Mission Foods/S&S Cycle/Indian Chal- lenger Team's Tyler O'Hara rounded out the podium in third. After two rounds, with round Barry got the holeshot and led the first four laps aboard his Aprilia, but Robem Engineering's Teagg Hobbs was in hot pursuit. Hobbs overtook Barry on lap five and held the lead until the sev- enth and final lap when Barry got around Hobbs and held off the New Hampshirite's strong chal- lenge to take the checkered flag by just 0.07 of a second. Third went to Benjamin Gloddy. In the series, Barry is on top at 25 points over Hobbs at 20, and Gloddy at 16. MISSION KING OF THE BAGGERS In the eight-lap Mission King of the Baggers race on Sunday, ROUND 2 / APRIL 22-24, 2022 ROAD ATLANTA / BRASELTON, GEORGIA P96 ROAD RACE I MOTOAMERICA / FIM NORTH AMERICAN ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP Kyle Wyman crashed out of the Dash for Cash but came good for Sunday's King of the Baggers win.
