but stalled the bike and then I got shuffled back a little bit and ended up just kind of playing it safe. It was a tough track, one of the tougher ones that we've had where the jumps and the bottom of the transitions were just really tough to ride, period. It was a track I didn't want to take a whole lot of risk on. We're still in a really good spot for points, and we'll go clinch it next week in Denver." 250SX East It was lights, camera, action for the 250SX East riders as Foxborough served as their final individual race before the "I was a little bit slow at the beginning," Sexton said. "After Eli stalled it, I picked the pace up a bit. I knew Jason was going to be good after watching him all day and in the heat race. I knew if I wanted to win I had to go with him and there was a part during the race where I felt like I was riding really well. Lappers were definitely a factor, they caught up with [Anderson], and they got me, too. It was kind of a yo-yo and he got away there toward the end. But my riding was really good, and I'm stoked on that." Musquin quietly secured another podium in Foxborough, his fifth of the 2022 season. Musquin cleared his teammate Webb early in the race and rode by himself for most of the main event. The talk of the town is how the Frenchman is near- ing the end of his career but he continues to ride the best we've seen in recent years. He's already grabbed a win this season, the only KTM rider to do so, and is currently on a Supercross-only contract with the brand. Musquin is fifth in overall points, just six back from Malcolm Stewart in fourth. "Yeah it looks like after Salt Lake City I'll have some time off," Musquin said. "It [racing out- doors] might be a possibility but at this stage of my career, and since October, the goal is to be Supercross-only, so I'm going to stick to that and see what hap- pens in the future." Tomac had a shot to wrap up the title in Foxborough but in- stead logged the worst result of his 2022 campaign. The Yamaha rider started up front but after stalling the bike with Anderson, the number-three just looked to play it safe for the duration of the main event. A seventh-place fin- ish does little to harm his points lead, as he will likely wrap things up next weekend in his home state of Colorado. "It was a tough main event," Tomac said.
