Lawrence looked to be the
man to beat early on but mis-
takes cost him later in the night.
He kicked off the Triple Crown
with two big wins, even coming
from behind to steal the show in
race two. Another poor start in
race three and a run-in with an-
other rider put Lawrence on the
ground and in 22nd place before

qualified for the evening show in
the 450SX class and went 14-18-13
on the night. Red Bull KTM's Max
Vohland also returned to racing in
St. Louis after suffering a broken
collarbone and experiencing nerve
damage. Unfortunately, Vohland
failed to qualify for the evening's
250SX East program. Justin
Brayton returned after suffering
a concussion at the Indy Super-
cross and had to sit out the Seattle
round. The Smartop/Bullfrog
Spas/Motoconcepts Honda rider
had a good night, rolling all 7s for
sixth overall in the 450SX class.
Adam Enticknap was back at it
again at St. Louis after fracturing
his C7 vertebrae. The H.E.P. Su-
zuki rider made the 450SX show,
going 18-17-17.
