Justin Barcia also got in the mix, going 5-5-4 for fifth on the night. In typical Barcia fashion, he battled it out in every main but just never had enough to get on the box. Malcolm Stewart put down the fastest time in qualifying and looked to be a threat in the mains. A third in race one was the best result of his night though, as a hefty crash in race two resulted in a 19th-placed DNF. OLD DOGS NEW TRICKS With the 250SX East field dwindling down due to injuries that means some new faces can creep up into podium territory. Well maybe not that new. Both Kyle Chisholm and Phil Nicoletti, some of the oldest riders in the 250 class, scored race podiums and top five overalls, Chisholm fourth and Nicoletti fifth. MCADOO, WEBB OUT Two of the biggest players in their respective series opted out of rac- ing on Saturday night. Defending 450SX Champion Cooper Webb suffered a midweek practice crash that left him banged up, choosing not to ride, and Cameron McAdoo, second in the 250SX East points, went down on press day and in- jured his shoulder. Webb is hopeful to make the next race in Atlanta. FALLING APART It appears that the Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/WPS/KTM is crumbling apart. After weeks of internal turmoil, the team has lost its title sponsors and has reverted to its original team name, BBMX. The team's star riders Max Anstie and Shane McElrath have been side- lined with injuries lately, and there is talk they might not return with the team.
