Shimoda tagged Mosiman's rear
wheel which sent him off track
and allowed Mosiman to secure
another podium finish.
"My rear brake went out
completely," Mosiman said. "The
rotor was bent so every time it
spun it would lock up … I really
got lucky that my bike stayed to-
gether, and it took a couple laps
to get used to that, for sure. I'm
really proud that I made do and
think I showed a lot of heart."

A very hungry Mosiman pulled
off a third in Seattle after lead-
ing laps early in the main event.
The pass he put on Craig didn't
appear to be dirty, just aggres-
sive. In fact, he mentioned on
the podium that it damaged his
rear brake rotor, and he lost his
ability to use it later in the race.
After finding himself in the lead
with no rear brake, both Law-
rence and Craig eventually made
their way back around the num-
ber-29. He held tough and held
