Justin Barcia bumped Anderson up a spot as the clock wound down. The podium is big for the Kawasaki rider as he continues to hold second overall by only five points. "Tonight, if I'm being honest, I just need some momentum at this point," Anderson said. "After the last three weeks, getting on the podium was nice and I just want to keep going from here." Similar to Anderson, Marvin Musquin found himself in podium territory late in the race to secure third. The KTM rider, who is a two-time Seattle winner, scored his third third-place finish of the season and did so by fending off Malcolm Stewart for most of the 26-lap main event. The crash from Barcia also allowed Musquin by, and he held the spot through to the checkers. This finish matches Musquin's season best as he sits sixth in the overall points, just two down from KTM teammate Cooper Webb.
