W
hen the field is on, they are
really on. This goes for all
the Supercross savages
that line up every Saturday night. But
a few elites continue to be a helmet
height above the rest. Seattle, Wash-
ington, was the setting for round 12 of
the Monster Energy AMA Supercross
Series and the return of the 250SX
West Championship, where Hunter
Lawrence and Eli Tomac took home
their respective main event wins.
Five in a row. To say Eli Tomac is
on a roll right now would be an under-
statement. Many pre-season predic-
tions saw him taking longer than this,
perhaps the whole season, to adjust
to his Monster Energy Star Racing Ya-
maha YZ450F. But the number-three
has proved everyone wrong. Another
