we were getting a few 10ths on each other," Lawrence said. "If one of us didn't get it, or clipped the quad, it was good breathing room. I cased it once behind him [McAdoo], because I was changing my line a bit. But then I got in front and was like 'Okay, I've got to get a safety gap' but then I tried again and cased it even harder so I said 'Guess we are doing double, three-on to- night.' It was tricky but I like that with the track changing, it makes you think a lot more rather than a hard-packed track where you can get everything easily every lap and do the same lap times without changing anything." This is Lawrence's third win in deep ruts wreaked havoc for the youngster and fans could see him struggling through the whoops and one of the clutch rhythm sections. Cameron McAdoo (Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki) passed Law- rence at one point and looked to hold the Honda rider at bay, but lappers came into play early in the race and Lawrence found his way back into the lead. After get- ting back around McAdoo it was smooth sailing for Lawrence as he cleaned up his line choices and took the checkers by nearly six seconds. "It was so hard to get that rhythm because if you could get that triple to quad over the table, 250SX EAST Jett Lawrence (Honda HRC) was a man on a mission, which certainly showed when Law- rence crashed in the first turn of his heat race and still managed to win the race. Last to first in seven minutes and 28 seconds to be exact. With lap times three seconds faster than anyone else on that gate, he set the tone for what was to come. This is the last race for the East as the se- ries picks back up for the 250SX West next week in Seattle. Lawrence clicked the hole- shot in the 250SX main in Indy and led all but five laps through- out the 21-lap race.
