fashion. Come time for the main
event, however, a so-so start put
Stewart ninth, just behind Tomac.
"Mookie" quietly worked his
way through the field and found
himself in podium territory by the
halfway mark. His whoop speed
ing a good pace. But like I said I
could not believe what I was see-
ing. Even at the end I saw Marvin
[Musquin] go down in the turn
and then I saw Dylan [Ferrandis]
holding his hand. It was like all
of the top guys at one point had
some type of crash or issue. It
was just unbelievable."
Second place went to Malcolm

"I felt good all day," said Stewart. "P1 in
prac ce and in the heat race, I knew we
had a good ball rolling," Stewart said. "In
the main event, I didn't get the best start,
but I just really had to ride because it's one
of those tracks where it's going to bite you
at any me. I just started clicking off laps
and I didn't really want to put too much
thought into it, I just wanted to get up
there. Once I started seeing riders crash—
like top- er riders going down—it was
kind of crazy, but we ended up second and
I'm thankful."

"It was a crazy night of racing," Marvin
Musquin said. "In the main, I got a good
start and ended up second with Jus n
Bogle in front of me. I should have passed
him, but I wasn't good in the whoops, and
I lost a couple spots. On the split-lane,
I was taking the inside and the outside
was be er so people just got by me and I
dropped. A er that, I started ge ng into a
be er rhythm and obviously a lot of guys
