T
he Daytona Supercross is an-
other beast. In a way it's an ode
to the days of old. It's the classic
nostalgia of the Daytona Speedway, the
motocross-esque track design, all mixed
with the lights-camera-action of mod-
ern day Supercross. Smack dab in the
middle of the series, the Daytona Su-
percross historically sets the tone as to
who will go on to win the championship.
This time around, Eli Tomac and Jett
Lawrence came out on top. For Tomac
it was his sixth career win at Daytona
which puts him alone at the top of the list
when it comes to the race's all-time wins.
For Lawrence, it was quite the opposite,
as it was his first time ever racing at the
famous facility and, of course, his first
victory at the famous venue.
Eli Tomac celebrates another
Daytona Supercross win.
