go, Forkner tangled mid-air with
Jett and the two came crashing
down to the hard Texas soil. The
Honda rider hurriedly remounted
and finished 10th, while Forkner
exited the racetrack holding his
shoulder and collarbone area.
"I just feel sick about it [the
crash] really, and don't have
much to say about it," Lawrence
said. "I went to the medic and
wanted to apologize because it's
a crappy feeling … maybe taking
a guy out in a turn is okay or not
Martin recovered from a
first-race ninth to claim
second overall.
