Happy Days
Stefan Bradl is congratulated by his
father Helmut after qualifying on pole
position for the Red Bull U.S. Grand
Prix on Saturday at Mazda Raceway
Laguna Seca. It was the younger
Bradl's first career pole in MotoGP
and the first ever for a German rider in
the premiere class. Helmut Bradl won
five 250cc GPs and finished a career
best second in the 1991 250cc World
Championship.
