T
he Monster Energy AMA
Supercross Series returned
to Anaheim for the third and
final time for round six of the sea-
son. Temps resided in the 90s
throughout the day which baked
the track into the typical West-
Coast hard-pack soil. A3 was also
the last race before a five-week
break for the 250SX West riders,
as the series heads to Minneapo-
lis next weekend to kick off the
250SX East season.
Fans witnessed two repeat
winners on the night as Christian
Craig and Jason Anderson both
went wire-to-wire to win their
respective main events. It wasn't
an easy battle for either, though.
Each race had its fair share of
suspense that came all the way
down to the final laps.
450SX
Anderson, on the Monster Energy
Kawasaki, looks dang good every
time he's on the track. Better
than the championship-winning
Anderson from 2018? Yes, that
good. Anderson put on a stellar
performance, starting by clicking
off the fastest time in the after-
noon qualifying session. After that
he went on to win his heat race,
which in turn lined him up for a
great spot in the main event.
The number-21 machine rock-
eted off the line, grabbing the
holeshot and the early lead. Be-
ing the first rider into the treacher-
ous whoops section proved to be
