Bridgestone's new Battlecross X31 motocross tires are
updated (from the previous-generation X30 tires) to
perform in constantly changing terrains. Symmetrical
tread blocks on the front tire aid in braking stability and
add extra bite in soft surfaces. Asymmetrical blocks on
the rear increase lateral bite for traction while cornering.
The bunker grooves at the base of the tread blocks provide
traction, even when the blocks are submerged in soft
terrain. Cooling fins on the sidewalls create air turbulence
to disperse heat for improved consistency under
continuous use, such as during a moto.
