Motion Pro's Steering Head Race Puller II
(P/N 08-0737) is designed to remove the
outer bearing race from a motorcycle's
steering head without the use of a hammer
and punch. The puller design ensures that
the bearing is pulled out straight to reduce
the chance of damaging the frame. The
precision-machined cup section is made from
anodized aluminum to help avoid damage to
the seal surface, and the hardened-steel jaws
engage securely on the inner bearing lip. The
tool works on tapered bearing races with an
OD of 47mm to 55mm.
