Metzeler's new Karoo 4 tires, successor of the Karoo
3, are designed for adventure and enduro motorcycles.
The Karoo 4 dual-sport tire is constructed with a new
big-block tread pattern that gives it a 50/50 pavement
and off-road profile. According to Metzeler, sidewall
blocks in alternating sizes and shapes improve
traction on wet or muddy surfaces, particularly when
cornering. The Karoo 4 tires are expected to be in
dealers this March in a range of sizes to fit midsized
and large adventure bikes.

Seat Concepts' Element XL seat is made for the
aggressive off-road rider who prefers more seat grip or
for the rider who ventures out in wet-weather conditions.
This seat has four traction ribs at the rear to keep the rider
firmly planted. The seat foam is covered with a thin water
barrier and the seams on the cover are sealed from the
inside. The seat's height is the same as the OEM unit, but
it is wider, measuring 9 5/8-inches, which can improve
weight distribution and add comfort.
