ProTaper has a brand-new carbon-fiber-reinforced aluminum handlebar
that is designed specifically for motocross bikes. The ProTaper ACF
(aluminum, carbon fiber) handlebar has a carbon-core system that
adds strength and impact-absorbing flex. The lightweight 1 1/8-inch
handlebar uses ProTaper's Control+ design, which creates more space
for mounting controls, such as a hydraulic clutch, an ignition-mapping
switch and electric starter. The ACF handlebar is available in four
bends: CR High, Carmichael, Henry/Reed and SX Race.
