Brough Superior SS100
Brings In The Bucks
T
he star of the show at the
latest Mecums Vintage and
Antique Motorcycle Auction in
Las Vegas, January 26-30, was
a 1938 Brough Superior SS100
from the Bob and Dolva Mitchell
Collection. The previous owner
purchased the motorcycle in
2003 and was then profession-
ally restored by John Bivens. Its
new owner paid $236,500 for
this rare bird that is said to start
and run well by its former owner.
The odometer shows just 29
miles on the ol' Brough.

W
ith the pit bike craze still
rolling at full steam, the
YCF brand is a brand to look
at. YCF came on the scene a
few years back when it part-
nered with Ricky Carmichael
and launched an extensive
model lineup. For 2022, YCF
has partnered with former Mo-
tocross/Supercross Pro Blake
Wharton to announce their
new rides.
YCF released nine models
for the new year, ranging from
50cc all the way to 190cc. With
a pit-bike focus, these bikes are
geared for little ones who are
learning to ride or the bigger
ones who want to get after it on
the backyard tracks with their
buddies. YCF also announces a
new electric 50E as well as dirt
