Just when you think you have
things figured out, boom another
curveball. Another surprise waits
around every corner. Round two of
the Monster Energy AMA Super-

race on any given weekend. A1
looked like years past; Roczen and
Barcia are strong early in the sea-
son, Webb is already playing the
long game, and all the pre-season
hype is as usual, just hype. But
then round two turns everything on
its head. Those who did well at A1
struggled in Oakland, and those
who didn't have the best of starts
last week rebounded nicely at round
two. Just one rider seemed to find
some sense of consistency, the new
points leader, Justin Barcia.
Jason Anderson's
Oakland win was
the first since his
championship
season in 2018.
