VOLUME 59 ISSUE 3 JANUARY 19, 2022 P113 VANCE & HINES YAMAHA R7 ROAD RACING EXHAUST $989.99 II 317.852.9057 www.vanceandhines.com The Vance & Hines Hi-Output 2-into-1 exhaust system for the Yamaha YZF-R7 is available now through the Vance & Hines Racing Development Center. Designed for closed-course competition, the stainless-steel exhaust has a fully-serviceable muffler. The two- piece sprung design reduces vibration for greater durability, while the modular system makes replacing components from crash damage more affordable. The tapered headers increase performance by a claimed 10% over stock, and the exhaust sits higher on the bike, allowing for steeper lean angles. ALPINESTARS TECH-AIR AIRBAG SYSTEMS $TBA II 800.438.2577 www.alpinestars.com Alpinestars has three new, autonomous rider airbag systems: Tech-Air 10, Tech-Air 3 and Tech-Air Off-Road V2. The Tech-Airs have integrated sensors that use gyroscopes and accelerometers to detect a crash to automatically inflate to protect the rider's upper body. The Tech-Air 10 is made for track and street riders, and it can be worn underneath any suit that has enough room to accommodate the inflation of the airbag. The packable Tech-Air 3 is worn over the jacket and is aimed at the commuter and street rider. The Tech-Air Off-Road V2 airbag system, developed and used in the last three Dakar races, is expected to be available later this year.
