P32 IN THE WIND GOING SOCIAL: ROSSI FOURTH! A ccording to the Hookit Athlete Index, Valentino Rossi ranked fourth in social media in the month of June. The top three: skateboard legend Tony Hawk (2.8 million), rally driver Ken Block (2.4 million), and skateboarder/TV star Rob Dyrdek (1.9 million). Rossi ranked fourth with 1.6 million. CRUTCHLOW: NOW WHERE? hither Cal Crutchlow? The burning question continued to smolder at the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring, with the rider tight-lipped and everyone waiting to see what would happen next. With Pol Espargaro signed up to join the satellite Monster Tech 3 Yamaha team next year and Bradley Smith already under contract, Yamaha has too many riders – but the strength of Crutchlow's performances makes the thought of losing him very unappealing. Tech 3 team chief Herve Poncharal said: "Cal is the fastest rider available for contract next year. All three factories in MotoGP are involved in talking to him.
