(Clockwise from top left) The KZ750 gets a new paint/graphics scheme,
rubber-mounted engine with oil cooler and air forks with equalizer. The
water-cooled KX250-C 1 has new head, cylinder and crankcase, plus dual
radiators and redesigned induction system. The KZ11 00 remains basically
unchanged. Single frame-mounted radiator marks the KX125-B2, which
features a stronger clutch, nevy ratios and rebuildable aluminum
silencer. Water-cooling is also.featured in the KX80-E1, which has new
gear ratios and box-section aluminum swingarm. The LTD 750 twin gets a
belt drive for 1983. KX60-A 1 shares features of the bigger bikes.
Kawasaki's popular 550 four-cyinder engine is mated with shaft drive in
the 550 Spectre, which along with several other bikes, shares a black
tail-light lens for better daytime contrast. The KOX200 not only got a
capacity boost, but along with the KOX250, an LCD trip meter/chronometer powered by a dry cell battery.
