SEPT. 10 T eam Green / Kal-Gard sponsored Kyle Lewis, one of the finest 60cc riders in the 'n atio n , was given the privilege of ta ki ng the firs t pre-production Ka wasaki 60cc Min i out on the Du nes track. Lewis took the 60cc Mini to a seco nd place to be a real win ner. No lo nger will Lewis have to race on a Yarnakawi, which was a Yamaha th a t was p ainted Kawasaki green . Since the new Kaw asaki 60 is n o t yet ready fo r the publ ic. Lewis h ad to ra ce th e bik e in th e 60cc Mo d ified Exp ert race . His lap tim es rivaled th ose of most 125cc rider s. T h is class was dom ina ted by Kyle who def ea ted two other ver y fine riders . Jaso n Collier, o f Amer ica n Honda . and Bu bba Erickso n. o f Yamaha and PJ I. Erickson had th e seco n d m o to run ner-u p spo t a head of Collier . bu t it turned aroun d in the fi nal race. Overall it was Lewis. Collier and Er ickso n .
