Playingmatchmaker is a tricky business. But it really worked out well when we dressed our new l02.3cc Sabre-based V4 engine in a Formula One chassis and introduced it to Mike Baldwin. . Mike's an aggressive guy who likes to rush into things. Like curves. And straightaways. Which suits our exclusive liquid-cooled V4 engine perfectly. Its configuration helps keep its mass lowfor superb handling. With enoughhorsepowerto keep every man on the track chasing her. They've been quite a pair, winning at Pocono, PA and Loudon, NH.Then, on August 22 at Sears Point, CA, Mike took the V4 to its third win of the season and the U.S. Road Racing Championship. Of course; Mike's stillallowed to see other bikes. Like the CB900F-based Superbike that he rode to victorythe same weekend. So if you're looking for a partner like Mike's, we suggest you see your Honda dealer. And let him :fix you up with either a V45 Sabre' or a I V45Magna~ We can't promise results like Mike's. But whether you're just looking for a good time or looking to get serious, the HondaV4 engine is an excellentbasis for a long, happy relationship. 20
