tocross titles in 250 A, 250
Pro Sport, and 450 Pro Sport
classes. Romano succeeded
in solidifying his name over the
past few seasons and certainly
announced that he is one of, if
not the, hottest amateurs on the
circuit right now.
Honda's Chance Hymas
followed Romano in all three
classes, taking three runner-up
finishes on the week. Brandon
Scharer (Yamaha) grabbed third
overall in 250 Pro Sport with
Cody Groves (KTM) claiming the
last podium in the 450 division.
Linville was the man on the
move for the B class Motocross
titles. Consistency paid off for
Tiger Wood (KTM) swept the
Supermini 1 (12-15) class with 1-1
finishes ahead of Husqvarna-
mounted Tyler Mollet and Will
Canaguier. Wood ended up col-
lecting the Pro Circuit Platinum
Pipe and Bronze Boot Awards
for most overall points in Super-
cross and Motocross.
Supermini 2 (13-16) belonged
to Tyler Mollet.
Once all the titles were
handed out in Supercross, the
event moved to Gatorback's mo-
tocross track for a second round
of championships. The familiar
motocross setting offered rolling
elevation changes and rough
track conditions.
